Scope
This policy explains how AlertBot handles information for its automated webpage-monitoring and text-message notification service.
Information collected
AlertBot may collect enrolled mobile telephone numbers, recipient consent records, notification preferences, message delivery metadata, service logs, and monitoring status. The public website does not use accounts, advertising cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and document consent for AlertBot; monitor configured webpages; and deliver requested service notifications. Message frequency varies. Messages are event-driven and may include occasional delivery tests or service-status notices. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and consent
AlertBot does not sell, rent, transfer, or disclose mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be disclosed only to telecommunications aggregators and service providers as necessary to deliver and administer the messaging program, or when required by law.
Service providers
AlertBot uses service providers, including Twilio for communications and DigitalOcean for infrastructure. These providers process limited information on AlertBot's behalf to operate the service.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, document consent, resolve delivery issues, and meet legal or compliance obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may reply STOP to an AlertBot text message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact AlertBot to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to applicable retention requirements.
